2025 - Healing Church Trauma interest form

Beginning March 19, 2025 | Allendale UMC is a welcoming and affirming faith community. We are folks with various past experiences of church and the theology preached and practiced in those churches. Some of those experiences have been harmful, even traumatic. Beginning Wednesday, March 19 at 6 PM, Rev. David Franks is offering a group experience called “Healing Church Trauma” for those who wish to explore their experience of “Church” and the theology we offer here at Allendale to heal that experience. This will be a closed group limited to eight participants that will meet for eight consecutive weeks.
